Personal Bio
- I have been in the real estate industry and licensed since 1981. My career experiences consist of 7 years as a title closer/branch manager for 2 major title companies in Corpus Christi, TX; in 1990 I began actively selling real estate, and in 1995 started my own real estate company in Corpus Christi. Over these years I have continued to grow in experience and accreditations within the real estate profession. On a personal note, my family and I have lived in Longview since 1999. I have served as the 2006 president of the Longview Area Assoc. of Realtors; have held numerous board positions, 2011 Texas Lone Star CRS membership chair. and actively involve in our local church. My husband Art is a civil engineer, we both enjoy trips out on his Harley bike; we have 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws and 2 granddaughters.
- To earn a designation, a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry. Currently I hold a Broker license; a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation - it's the residential real estate industry's most advanced "degree." Only 3% of Realtors Nationwide earn the CRS designation...the PH.D. of Real Estate; Residential Finance Consultant (RFC) designation - trained and equipped with tools to help people understand the tax advantages, financing alternatives and investment aspects of home ownership; e-PRO designation equips an agent to better communicate and promote property through the world wide web; and a Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designation - skilled to assist homeowners when they are behind in their mortgage payment.
